The candidate will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, mentor ensure rigorous safety practices, and contribute to grant proposals and reports.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, planning, and coordinating experiments in separations/membrane processes, carbon sequestration, LCA, and related topics.
• Analyze experimental data and maintain accurate research records.
• Conduct literature reviews and prepare review manuscripts and technical reports.
• Increase research productivity by developing proposals and publishing journal articles and grant reports.
• Mentor undergraduate/graduate students and other lab staff in procedures and safety.
• Apply standard research techniques, multitask, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Perform additional duties to support the center director and research team.
