Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science or related field.
• Ability to design and conduct experiments, analyze data, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain reproducible documentation.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations, quality assurance/quality control, safety requirements.
• Proficiency with data analysis, visualization, technical writing, literature management, and presentations.
• Strong scientific writing and oral communication skills; ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, planning, and coordinating experiments related to separations, carbon sequestration, LCA/TEA, air quality, climate applications, etc.
• Apply AI tools to research areas.
• Analyze data, maintain records, and prepare reports and manuscripts.
• Increase research productivity by developing proposals and publishing in journals and reports.
• Mentor undergraduate/graduate researchers and support lab staff.
