Qualifications

• PhD completed or near completion in a relevant field such as chemical engineering, materials science, or chemistry.
• Experience with crystallization science, solubility, nucleation kinetics, and polymorph screening.
• Experience with automated or high-throughput laboratory systems and data processing using Python/ML.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to AI-enabled autonomous experimentation platform for materials discovery.
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to integrate robotic experimentation with characterization and ML.
• Publish results and present findings within Argonne and to collaborators.
