Overview

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work under the direction of Dr Mary-Ellen Taplin, MD. The position will work collaboratively with faculty in DFCI GU Medical Oncology to support projects involving a GU pathologist. These projects include prostate, bladder, kidney and testis cancer. Dr. Taplin’s research program is centered on clinical and translational investigations in genitourinary oncology, with a strong focus on prostate cancer, including localized high-risk disease and metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.

The fellow will contribute to pathology-focused translational research efforts in GU Oncology trials investigating novel treatment strategies, biomarker development and mechanisms of response and resistance in cancer trials.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.

For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
