The University of South Carolina's Bullying Prevention Center invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to support federally funded research focused on bullying prevention, social-emotional development, and behavioral outcomes for students.

The fellow will engage in study implementation, data management and analysis, manuscript development, and dissemination of findings through publications and presentations.

Qualificações

• Requires a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree by the start date of employment.
• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Special Education, Education, School Psychology, Educational Psychology, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience conducting research related to bullying prevention, peer victimization, social and communication skills, behavioral outcomes, students with disabilities, or related areas.
• Experience with quantitative research methods and analysis of large-scale or longitudinal data; school-based research and collaboration with school or district partners; preparation of peer-reviewed manuscripts and conference presentations; and participation in externally funded research projects.
• A strong record of scholarly productivity and a demonstrated ability to collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary research team.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct and support research activities associated with the DIAL and Second Step projects, including study implementation, intervention evaluation, research design, protocol implementation, and coordination of research activities across project sites.
• Manage, prepare, analyze, and interpret quantitative and other research data associated with the projects. Conduct statistical analyses, maintain data quality, and contribute to the development and implementation of analytic plans.
• Prepare and contribute to peer-reviewed manuscripts, conference presentations, research reports, briefs, and other dissemination products resulting from project activities and findings.
• Collaborate with school districts, schools, research partners, and project personnel to coordinate research activities, support data collection and implementation, address project needs, and maintain effective research partnerships.
• Support project management and research administration, including maintaining research documentation, assisting with IRB and data-use requirements, monitoring project timelines and deliverables, and participating in regular project meetings.
• Provide research mentorship, training and task-level guidance to graduate and undergraduate research assistants engaged in DIAL and Second Step research activities.
