The Machine Learning Department (MLD) at Carnegie Mellon University is aleading hub for research and education in artificial intelligence and machinelearning. It focuses on developing innovative algorithms and models to addresscomplex problems in diverse fields such as robotics, healthcare, and finance.The department offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, fosteringa collaborative environment that bridges theoretical research and practicalapplications. Faculty and students frequently collaborate with industry andother academic disciplines to push the boundaries of what is possible withmachine learning.

MLD is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the team. Thisposition will require an in-depth knowledge of a specialized field, process, ordiscipline and may involve organizing and implementing complex research plans,the development of methods of research, testing and data collection, analysisand evaluation, and writing reports which contain descriptive, analytical andevaluative content.

Core Responsibilities

Conduct research experiments within the predetermined research scope andmethodology of department and university.

Qualifications

Doctorate Degree required.
