Job summary

University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill is seeking a Post-Doc Research Associate to conduct independent and collaborative research in medicinal chemistry within the Wang Lab. Qualifications

• PhD in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry or related field.
• Extensive experience in synthetic organic chemistry preferred.
• Must comply with all environmental health and safety rules including proper use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments aimed at synthesizing biologically relevant molecules.
• Perform literature searches and maintain detailed lab records.
• Prepare weekly research reports and other assigned reports.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and maintain equipment and spaces.
• Assist in writing and submitting research reports and publications.
