The Department of Mechanical Engineering provides engineering programs that combine fundamentals of mechanical engineering with a broad specialization in energy production, management, and distribution subjects. Also offered are engineering technology programs that are based on applications of technology to solve engineering problems.

Position Overview
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at UNT, is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to conduct air quality modeling, monitoring, and data analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of air quality models and open-source data analysis techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
• Expertise in air pollution modeling and analysis.
• Proficiency in air quality monitoring, sampling, and data analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in R or Python.
