Job summary

The Madhavan Lab in the Department of Neurology at the University of Arizona is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate I to join an NIH-funded project studying the therapeutic effects of novel drugs in PD rodent models. Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD in neuroscience, molecular cellular biology, or related field.
• Experience with rodent models preferred.
• Ability to work independently and publish findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a research project in collaboration with the PI and lab members.
• Innovate new areas of experimental inquiry.
• Advance technical aspects of experimental approaches and mechanistic understanding of biological problems.
• Mentor junior lab members and contribute to a productive scientific environment.
