Position Highlights

Investigate the mechanisms that drive chronic inflammation after ischemic stroke. The successful candidate will study human post-stroke neuroimmunology using cutting-edge approaches, with a particular emphasis on imaging mass cytometry and transcriptomic analysis of human brain tissue. We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious scientist who is passionate about performing creative, rigorous, and mechanistically driven research. The ideal candidate will have strong critical-thinking and quantitative skills, work effectively in a collaborative research environment, and communicate clearly through both scientific writing and presentation. Candidates should be eager to develop expertise in stroke immunology and to apply state-of-the-art spatial, cellular, and molecular approaches to understand how immune responses contribute to chronic brain injury and recovery after stroke.
