Job summary

The University of Minnesota’s GPS Office seeks a Program Manager to lead Postdoctoral Trainee Programs and support graduate student programming. You will design and manage initiatives for both postdocs and graduate students, collaborating with stakeholders across the Medical School and Graduate School to strengthen recruitment, retention, and career development.

This hybrid role involves two days on campus with some flexibility, and requires strong program management, analytics, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of program management experience or a Master’s with four years of relevant experience.
• BS in biomedical sciences or public health-related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading workshops for graduate students or postdocs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and manage program initiatives for graduate students and postdocs.
• Increase recruitment and diversity through outreach and targeted recruitment activities.
• Develop seminars/workshops to enhance career development and research education.
• Assist in onboarding, benefits, and overall postdoctoral trainee support resources.
• Create analytics tools to measure trainee outcomes and program success.
• Collaborate with Medical School departments to support postdoctoral training activities.
