Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering required.
• Up to 2 years related lab/research experience; 4 years preferred in polymer research; NSF I-Corps completion or industrial experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Produce polyisobutylene polyurethanes at scale (>100 g) and characterize the polymers.
• Establish and document manufacturing practices for biomedical-grade material and perform quality control.
• Prepare reports for publication and for granting agencies; attend joint research meetings with collaborators.
