Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a PhD in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
• Up to 2 years related lab/research experience; industrial experience or NSF I-Corps preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and present technical aspects to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Produce polyisobutylene polyurethanes at scale (>100 g) and characterize polymers.
• Establish and document manufacturing practices for biomedical-grade material and quality control.
• Prepare reports for publication and to granting agencies and attend joint research meetings with collaborators.
