Qualifications

• PhD in physics, electrical engineering, materials science, chemistry, or closely related field.
• Hands-on experience with electron sources and semiconductor characterization.
• Minimum three first-author or co-authored peer-reviewed publications.
• Degree requirements completed before starting the appointment; degree received within five years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments using state-of-the-art characterization instrumentation.
• Analyze data using established and custom modeling tools.
• Introduce new capabilities by integrating hardware.
• Present progress at group meetings and technical conferences.
• Write and publish manuscripts in scientific journals.
