The Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom (ASC) at Florida International University (FIU) invites applications for its Postdoctoral Fellowships. ASC seeks exceptionally motivated early‑career scholars who will research, teach and participate in the vibrant life of the ASC in Miami. Fellowships are highly competitive; applicants’ research proposals must clearly demonstrate engagement with the Center’s mission and academic interests—including economic liberty, free markets, entrepreneurship, academic freedom, classic liberal thought, individual liberty and the institutional foundations of prosperity.
The Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom is an independent university think tank dedicated to advancing the principles of economic freedom, individual liberty and limited government through research, education and public engagement. The Center promotes interdisciplinary scholarship and fosters dialogue on the role of free market economies and their impact on freedom and human prosperity in the United States and around the world.
Postdoctoral Fellows are members of energetic and collaborative intellectual communities at both ASC and FIU. Reporting to ASC’s Associate Director, Fellows actively contribute to the Center’s mission and activities through:
