Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant field with a strong publication record.
• Experience with RNA analysis, gene expression, or RNA-protein interaction studies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and characterize mouse models with the Engineered Mouse Model Core Facility.
• Evaluate transcriptome perturbations using sequencing, RT-PCR, and qPCR.
• Characterize mouse neurodevelopmental phenotypes with a behavioral scientist’s input.
• Investigate structure–function relationships using disease-causing missense mutants and functional assays.
• Identify downstream splicing/expression changes and develop ASOs to restore normal expression.
• Analyze data and communicate findings via presentations, publications, and grants.
• Collaborate with teams in RNA biology, ASO therapeutics, and translational research.
• Mentor junior lab members and contribute to a collaborative environment.
