The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) invites applications for a full-time Research Associate (Postdoctoral Fellow) to conduct grant-supported experimental research on light–matter interactions for quantum-information and quantum-communication applications at NYC College of Technology.

Begin Sept 1, 2026, in-person for up to one year with potential renewal based on funding and performance.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experimental research on transition-metal dichalcogenide and related quantum materials, with emphasis on light–matter interactions relevant to quantum-information and quantum-communication technologies.
