Rutgers University–Camden invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate in the Department of Biology. The position focuses on mechanisms of plant development and stress tolerance, using molecular, genetic, cellular and bioinformatics approaches to study stomatal regulation by abiotic stress. A Ph.D.

in plant biology, biochemistry or related fields is required. This one-year appointment is fully supported by grants and renewable based on funding.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in plant biology, biochemistry, or related fields.
• Experience in plant biology, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry is highly desired.
• Knowledge of basic cell biology and bioinformatics.

Responsabilités

• Study the molecular mechanisms of stomatal development under abiotic stresses.
• Independently conduct a research project in basic cell biology and bioinformatics; participate in ongoing lab projects.
