Job summary

The Salk Institute is seeking a highly motivated scientist at the postdoctoral level to lead the next phase of our patient-derived organoid program. The successful candidate will use patient-derived pancreatic organoids and molecular approaches to investigate CFTR and other ion-transport pathways, and to evaluate therapeutic responses across patient-specific models.

Ideal candidates will be collaborative, well organized, and capable of independent project management.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field.
• Postdoctoral candidate to lead the organoid program.
• Experience with organoids, epithelial biology, or CFTR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the next phase of the patient-derived organoid program.
• Investigate CFTR and other ion-transport pathways.
• Characterize mechanisms of disease heterogeneity across patient-specific models.
• Evaluate therapeutic responses in organoid-based systems.
