Mass General Brigham Incorporated seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow and Microscopy Core Manager at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA, to lead translational neuroscience studies and oversee advanced imaging facilities.

The role combines independent postdoctoral research on stress, immune signaling, and NVU dynamics with leadership of the McLean Hospital Microscopy Core, including TEM, confocal, and two-photon microscopy.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD in neuroscience, cell biology, molecular biology, biomedical imaging, neuropathology, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with advanced microscopy and guiding investigators in study design, image acquisition, analysis, and interpretation.
• Preferred: TEM and/or advanced fluorescence microscopy expertise.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced microscopy techniques (TEM, confocal, two-photon) and image analysis.
• Oversee microscopy core operations, instrument access, maintenance, and user training.
• Assist investigators with study design, feasibility, budgets, and data interpretation.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation and grant applications.
