Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center's Medina Laboratory seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join a growing research team studying anti-tumor T cell responses, immunometabolism, and tumor-immune communication.

Candidates will gain experience with mouse tumor models, CRISPR-Cas9, high-dimensional flow cytometry, transcriptomics, metabolomics, and human tumor sample analysis, with mentorship and opportunities to publish.

Qualifications

• PhD/MD in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, microbiology, biomedical sciences or a related field.
• At least one first-author publication (or manuscript in preparation).
• Prior experience with mouse models and in vivo experimentation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret mechanistic studies of T cell biology and anti-tumor immunity using multiple methods.
• Prepare manuscripts, fellowship applications, and scientific presentations.
• Mentor graduate students and research staff within the laboratory.
