Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Cancer Biology. The successful candidate will work with a PI on translational research, design and execute experiments, and develop writing and presentation skills within a collaborative environment.

We seek MD or PhD holders with a strong immunology background, first-author publications, and extensive experience with multicolor flow cytometry and pre-clinical mouse models. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD in cancer biology or related field.
• At least one first-author publication.
• Experience with multicolor flow cytometry.
• Experience with pre-clinical mouse models.

Responsibilities

• Work with PI on project planning; design and execution of experiments independently; document and organize and maintain up to date data.
• Learn and develop research techniques and lab protocols.
• Develop scientific writing and presentation skills.
• Work with collaborators and core facility staff on interdisciplinary experiments.
