University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, located in Chapel Hill, NC, is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to join the Kelada Lab focused on the pulmonary response to ozone. The project centers on how genetic variation influences exposure responses in mice, leveraging the Collaborative Cross resource and advanced genomic analyses.

The role includes training in cutting-edge techniques and collaboration with UNC's bioinformatics team.

Qualifications

• PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Immunology, or a related field.
• Experience with in vitro and/or in vivo models of respiratory exposure and inflammatory signaling.
• Experience analyzing high-throughput sequencing data (RNA-seq).

Responsabilités

• Study pulmonary response to ozone using the Collaborative Cross mouse genetics resource.
• Generate and analyze genomic datasets; contribute to manuscript preparation and present findings at meetings.
