Job summary

The University of Florida seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join the Laboratory of Stem Cell and Metabolism at UF/IFAS. You will lead and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects studying epigenetic regulation of adipose and liver metabolism, fibrosis, and metabolic disease using human and mouse models.

You will work with Dr. Feng Yue and collaborators to design and execute experiments, advance in vivo and molecular approaches, and contribute to high-impact publications while

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant biological science with a strong publication record.
• Commitment to UF core values and Land-Grant mission.
• Experience with molecular, cellular, genetics and physiological techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute and analyze experiments using molecular, cellular, genetics and physiological techniques.
• Lead independent and collaborative projects focused on chromatin remodeling and metabolism.
• Develop fellowship and grant applications to support independent research growth.
• Present findings in lab meetings, seminars, and conferences.
• Contribute to mentoring of graduate and undergraduate trainees.
• Collaborate with lab colleagues to advance research on aging and metabolic disease.
