Job summary

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital seeks postdoctoral researchers in the Department of Pathology and CELS to study genetic, epigenetic and metabolic controls on stem cell development and pediatric cancers. Work spans high-throughput epigenomics, metabolomics, single-cell multiomics, and preclinical models in a collaborative team.

The lab uses LC-MS, GS-MS, Illumina sequencing, 10x Genomics and flow cytometry, with a track record of impactful publications. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D.

Qualifications

Ph.D. and/or M.D. with strong background in hematology/oncology or metabolism research.
Independent, flexible and creative researcher with strong scientific productivity.
Experience in metabolomics, computational biology, or hematology-oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify and target metabolic and epigenetic vulnerabilities in blood cancers and therapy response.
Develop non-coding RNA-based nucleic acid therapeutics for inherited blood disorders.
Apply pharmacologic and genetic approaches to disease-associated metabolic processes.
Develop AI/ML tools to integrate metabolomics, transcriptomics and genomics data.
