Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL invites a PhD scientist to join the Department of Translational Pathology as a Postdoctoral Fellow. You will develop AI methods for digital pathology, including histology images and spatial omics data, alongside clinicians and researchers in a highly collaborative environment.

You will contribute to translational projects, publish findings, and advance reusable software tools, with access to internal funding, mentorship, and career development resources.

Qualifications

• PhD in CS/CE/EE or biomedical engineering required or MD/PhD candidates with strong computational background welcomed.
• Strong publication record and ability to develop reusable research software.
• Experience in computational biology and bioinformatics, large language models, and large-scale datasets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop computational pathology algorithms that integrate histology images, pathology reports, and spatial omics data.
• Maintain project software repositories and documentation.
• Collaborate with investigators, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to advance project goals and prepare manuscripts.
• Present results at conferences and seminars through posters or talks.
