Job summary

Mount Sinai is seeking an independent scientist to design and execute cancer biology research integrating organoid and mouse models with single-cell genomics. The lab emphasizes mentorship and interdisciplinary collaboration in a cutting-edge environment.

The candidate will contribute to manuscripts and grant applications while advancing a program at the interface of cancer biology, epigenetics, stem cell biology, and genomics.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Epigenetics, Stem Cell Biology, or a related field.
• Strong publication record or evidence of research productivity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with molecular biology and mammalian cell culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute independent research projects.
• Perform experiments using organoid, cell culture, and mouse models.
• Conduct genetic barcoding, lineage tracing, and functional genomics studies.
• Contribute to manuscripts, grant applications, and mentoring activities.
