DescriptionThe Johns Hopkins University’s Department of Applied Mathematicsand Statistics invites applicants for the position of PostdoctoralFellow. The successful candidate will collaborate with Dr. MauroMaggioni's research team on projects in the area of artificialintelligence and digital twins. The Maggioni team specializes inmathematical techniques for analyzing, modeling, and extractinginformation from large data sets in order to enable smarter machinelearning algorithms and scientific discoveries.
The teaching load for this position will be no more than one courseeach semester, depending on funding and the needs of thedepartment, so that the appointee will have ample time forresearch. The appointment is for two years, with the possibility ofrenewal, depending on funding availability.
