Job summary

Calico Life Sciences is seeking postdoctoral fellows to join its research program aimed at understanding the biology of aging. Fellows will lead independent projects, collaborate across diverse teams, and contribute to a vibrant drug-development pipeline with mentorship and formal reviews.

The program spans three years with potential extension, integrating fellows into Calico’s labs and community, and culminating in independence for academic or industry careers.

Qualifications

• Must have recently completed a PhD in a relevant scientific or computational field.
• Current PhD student applicants should be within 12 months of completing their PhD.
• Applicants who have already graduated must have completed their PhD within the past 3 years and not have been employed as a postdoc at more than one lab/company since graduation.
• Experience: meaningful first-author paper accepted for publication.
• Technical Versatility: proficiency in core scientific methodologies and quantitative problem-solving.
• Communication: strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Onsite Availability: willing to work onsite five days per week.
