Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in a relevant field with expertise in oxide materials synthesis and characterization.
• Experience with synthesis and characterization of oxide powders and nanomaterials.
• Experience with forming/consolidation and thermal processing of ceramic monolithic structures.
• Experience with electrical or electrochemical testing of ionic and/or mixed conductive materials.

Responsibilities

• Research SOFC/SOEC forming and sintering processes.
• Perform electrochemical testing of SOFC/SOECs.
• Attend research conferences and review literature to stay current.
• Identify and assist with funding from public, private, and government sources.
• Search literature to select and modify methods for research goals.
• Perform lab and field experiments per protocol.
• Oversee facilities and personnel.
• Write and present progress reports for the Principal Investigator.
• Prepare results for presentation at conferences or journals.
