The Geneva Foundation is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow I to assist in a research study examining the effects of repeated low-level blast exposure on sleep. Located in Quantico, VA, this hybrid role allows flexible remote work 1-2 days a week.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the research team, contribute to drafting reports, and manage data. A PhD or MD is mandatory, alongside medical project management experience, preferably with the Department of Defense. About the Position

The Post‑Doctoral Fellow I provides assistance to the Principal Investigator, Co‑Investigators, and research staff. S/he ensures enrollment numbers are successfully met, protocol adherence, monitoring visits, overseeing regulatory and administrative details, data management assistance, and project close‑out support are provided. This study examines the effects of repeated low‑level blast exposure on sleep in a training environment. The position is hybrid and assigned to the Methods of Entry School in Quantico, VA. A thorough government background check will be required. The role offers flexibility to work remotely 1–2 days.

Compensation: $75,000‑$85,000.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and assist the Principal Investigator, Co‑Investigators, and research team in the performance of the research study.
• Contribute to drafting and submitting abstracts, manuscripts, and reports for dissemination.
• Prepare progress reports on research as required.
• Analyze and write up data.
• Present complex information effectively to a range of audiences.
• Provide data management assistance.
• Provide project close‑out support.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD required.
• 1‑2 years of medical research project management experience strongly desired, preferably with the Department of Defense.
• Knowledge of military systems preferred.
• Demonstrated competence in oral and written communication.
• Organized, attentive to detail, and possesses a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Flexibility with changing priorities and available to interact with employees, clients, and sponsors at all levels.
• Independent judgment in a fast‑paced, high‑pressured environment with strict deadlines and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Computer skills including at least intermediate level experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
• Background check required.
