Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM, seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate focusing on data analysis to support manufacturing-process studies for advanced materials.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design materials and their fabrication methods for engineering applications, applying state-of-the-art data methods to solve real-world problems across engineering domains.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in materials science, physics, chemical engineering or related field completed within the last five years.
• Eligible to apply for a DOE Q clearance.
• Experience with MD/DFT, data analysis, and materials characterization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to design and develop materials and their fabrication methods.
• Apply advanced data analysis techniques to manufacturing and materials challenges.
• Support studies focused on developing, optimizing, and controlling manufacturing processes.
