• Maintains accurate experimental records and data for manuscripts.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of basic scientists, clinicians, computational biologists.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Summary

The Kommagani Laboratory in the Department of Pathology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking highly motivated candidates for a Postdoctoral Associate position. Postdoctoral Associate will join a multidisciplinary research team focused on advancing the understanding of gynecological diseases, with a particular emphasis on endometriosis.

The Kommagani Laboratory was among the first to establish a causal role for the microbiome in endometriosis and continues to lead innovative efforts to develop microbiota-based diagnostics and therapeutics. The lab is seeking Posdoctoral Associate who are passionate about discovery, driven by scientific curiosity, and eager to make meaningful contributions to women's health. While technical expertise is valuable, the team's emphasis is on creativity, commitment, independence, and the desire to pursue impactful science.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize cutting edge approaches in mouse models and human clinical samples to investigate the causal roles of the microbiota and microbiota-derived metabolites in the pathogenesis of endometriosis. The Postdoctoral Associate will work at the interface of reproductive biology, immunology, microbiology, metabolism, and translational medicine.
