Job summary

Big Science Sweden is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in the X-ray Operations group. The successful candidate will further develop and optimize the XFELO demonstrator setup and contribute to experiments and publications.

The role involves collaborating with a team of scientists and engineers at European XFEL and DESY, aiming to advance the XFELO program through innovative research and experimentation.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field such as physics, engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience with X-ray systems or free-electron lasers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the XFELO demonstrator setup.
• Execute XFELO-related experiments and analyze data.
• Support workshops and meetings related to XFELO.
