Job summary

The New York Genome Center seeks an independent and team-oriented Postdoctoral Research Associate to expand spatially resolved techniques to understand neurodegenerative disease. The fellow will work closely with leaders in neurobiology, molecular biology, and computational biology to develop workflows and cross-modality data integration, and will contribute to manuscript preparation.

• Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, neurobiology or related discipline required.
• Strong oral and written communication, data documentation, and presentation skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop new workflows and protocols for spatially resolved, multi-modal data integration.
• Develop tools for image analysis and data integration across modalities.
• Coordinate efforts across organizations and prepare manuscripts for publication.
• Mentor students and trainees and share expertise with the group.
