Job summary

The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral computational analyst to lead spatial multi-omics data projects in cancer research. You will design analyses, develop computational strategies, and collaborate with Dr.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field.
  • 0-1+ years of post‑graduate experience.
  • Experience with computational analysis, algorithm development, and statistics.
  • Hands-on experience in spatial multi‑omic data analysis; experience with other emerging technologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or Matlab.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and execution of data analysis strategies for spatial multi‑omics projects.
  • Drive the scientific vision of the project and spearhead computational approaches.
  • Explore and develop tools for novel data types.
  • Develop new spatial/genomic analysis methods to predict tumor outcomes and subtypes.
  • Create, test, and present statistical models; analyze experimental data.
  • Present results to diverse audiences and prepare reports and talks.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to teaching.
