Responsibilities

  • Research, plan, design, and conduct experiments involving solid phase processing methods and related testing systems.
  • Collaborate to develop steps and processes for manufacturing composite materials and related finishing, treating, and strengthening.
  • Collaborate to perform structural characterization and mechanical property evaluation and relate microstructure to operating conditions.
  • Document results in reports and peer-reviewed publications.
