Qualifications

Ph.D. in Agronomy, Breeding, genomics, phenomics or related fields.
Experience publishing scientific manuscripts in peer‑reviewed journals in plant breeding/genomics/phenomics.
Experience conducting field and laboratory experiments in a crop breeding program.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing experiments; collecting and analyzing data related to plant genetics, genomics, phenomics, physiology, pathology, and entomology; supporting breeding activities from planting through harvest and post‑harvest seed processing; and applying statistical and quantitative methods to research data.
Publishing research findings in peer‑reviewed journals, contributing to grant proposals and technical reports, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, and participating in collaborative interdisciplinary research projects.
