Job summary

Center For Family Medicine Inc in Sioux Falls, SD is offering a full-time, 12-month postdoctoral fellowship to train psychologists in Integrated Primary Care Behavioral Health within a busy family medicine residency clinic.

The fellowship provides advanced training in PCBH, rural healthcare delivery, substance use disorder treatment, MOUD, and collaborative care, with strong emphasis on preparing psychologists for practice in resource-limited settings.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship prior to the fellowship start date.
• Eligibility for psychologist licensure in South Dakota.
• Strong interest in integrated primary care and interdisciplinary practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide brief behavioral health interventions in a primary care setting.
• Conduct warm handoffs and same-day consultations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Support patients receiving MOUD and collaborate with the care team.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and program evaluation.
• Contribute to resident and medical student education.
