Boston Children's Hospital's Winden Lab, focused on genetic causes of neurodevelopmental disorders, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to lead studies of non-cell autonomous effects in Tuberous Sclerosis Complex and related neurogenetic disorders.
The successful candidate will work with human iPSC-derived 2D and 3D neural models to dissect molecular, cellular, and circuit mechanisms, contributing to our understanding of disease processes and potential therapeutic strategies.
The Winden Lab at Boston Children's Hospital is focused on genetic causes of neurodevelopmental disorders. We use human induced pluripotent stem cells from patients with these genetic disorders to generate 2D and 3D neural models to study the underlying molecular, cellular, and circuit mechanisms of the disorder. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to lead our studies of non-cell autonomous effects in Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, as well as other emerging neurogenetic disorders.
