Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s seeks a postdoctoral fellow to conduct phenotype-genotype studies using human iPSCs to characterize patient mutations for tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). The lab aims to elucidate epileptogenesis in mTORopathies, using a range of model systems and techniques, within a vibrant academic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD/MD or equivalent and at least two years of human iPSC experience.

Qualifications

• PhD/MD or equivalent is required.
• At least two years of experience conducting human iPSC work.

Responsibilities

• Develop independence as a scientist through data analysis, project planning, and experiment design.
• Design and conduct experiments, record data, and interpret results with potential impact on patient care.
• Review and improve methods, ensure protocol accuracy, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Discuss insights with faculty and provide analyses and recommendations.
