Job summary
Oak Ridge National Laboratory invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Optical Spectroscopy. Qualifications
- PhD completed in the last five years or by Jan 2027.
- Experience with optical spectroscopy and related diagnostic techniques preferred.
- Ability to publish and present research results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate advanced optical spectroscopy systems (LIBS, OES, plasma diagnostics).
- Design experiments involving molten salts, radioactive materials, or gas handling systems.
- Publish papers and internal reports and present results.
- Align work with ORNL values and conduct requirements.
- Collaborate across disciplines within the IAR group.
