Qualifications

• MD and/or PhD completed before appointment begins.
• Experience in neuroscience or neuroimmunology preferred.
• Background studying Alzheimer's disease or BBB/cerebrovascular biology an advantage.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with spatial transcriptomics/RNA-seq; R/Python a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate brain endothelial dysfunction and BBB disruption in Alzheimer's disease.
• Use mouse models, human specimens and datasets to study mechanisms.
• Analyze spatial transcriptomics and RNA-seq data to map cell states and pathways.
• Collaborate across the lab and communicate findings effectively.
