Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. in the biological sciences (awarded or anticipated).

  • Demonstrated experience in pain research and pharmacology (e.g., nociception assays, analgesic pharmacology, receptor/signaling pharmacology).
  • Publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Ability to perform as a team member and good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analyze and interpret data, prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication, and present findings at conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct independent research studies on neuroimmune mechanisms of pain in gynecological disease.
  • Participate in drafting scientific publications and funding proposals.
  • Possibly supervise students under PI direction.
  • Contribute to drug discovery and translational research efforts.
