Job summary

Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine – Faculty of Physiology & Biophysics is recruiting highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to study the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and ALS. We investigate mitochondrial dysfunction, metabolic dysregulation, and cellular stress to identify new therapies.

Candidates should have a PhD and/or MD in neuroscience or related fields; experience with iPSC neuronal models, transgenic mouse models,

Qualifications

• PhD and/or MD in neuroscience, molecular biology, cell biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience in neurodegenerative disease, mitochondrial biology, iPSC models, or transgenic mouse models.
• Strong motivation for translational research and independent project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects investigating the molecular basis of mitochondrial damage and metabolic dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases.
• Translate fundamental discoveries into new disease-modifying therapeutic strategies.
