The Rehab Neural Engineering Labs at the University of Pittsburgh seek a post-doctoral researcher to advance spinal cord neural interfaces for restoring somatosensory feedback in prosthetics. The fellow will design experiments, collect and analyze data, and publish findings, collaborating with clinicians and engineers across campus.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in biomedical engineering or related field.
• Deep knowledge of somatosensory neurophysiology and/or neural engineering.
• Experience with neural stimulation and neural interface design/testing.
• Evidence of scholarship with peer-reviewed publications.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and testing of spinal cord stimulation electrodes in preclinical models.
• Plan and execute experiments; collect and analyze data.
• Collaborate with clinicians and engineers across departments.
• Contribute to paper preparation and dissemination of results.
