Job summary

• Education/Degree Required: Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in their field of study.
• Experience Required: Neurologic rehabilitation research.
• Publication in clinical research.
• Expertise in clinical and/or neuromechanical assessment of human limb movements.
• CPR certification Required.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Confident, articulate, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral & written).
• Strong expertise in rehabilitation research.
• Knowledge of clinical research protocols.
• Careful attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in physical rehabilitation.
• Collect, record, analyze and present data.
• Maintain research records and databases.
• Conduct literature searches.
• Assist with recruiting patients for clinical trials.
• Obtain patient study data from medical records and physicians.
• Use software to generate graphs and reports.
• Prepare reports for publication and presentations.
• Assist with manuscript writing for publication or presentations.
• Perform administrative support duties as required.
• Draft grants and portions of grants for submission to agencies with lab director assistance.
• Work under general supervision.
• Stay current in area of research interest via literature review.
