Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field and appointment start date.
• Research experience in building airflow, indoor air quality, aerosol measurement, HVAC filtration, building energy systems, or building performance modeling.
• Evidence of scientific productivity (peer-reviewed publications, conference papers).
• Experience designing experiments, analyzing time-series data, and documenting research methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct large-chamber experiments evaluating filter, fan, duct, and improvised connections across airflow rates and pressure differentials.
• Measure indoor/outdoor particle concentrations, building pressure differences, airflow, weather and power use.
• Design field studies in test homes and residences, including equipment installation and data retrieval.
• Develop and validate airflow models (CONTAM or similar).
• Maintain data, code, protocols and quality documentation for reproducible research.
• Prepare manuscripts, reports, and presentations; coordinate with principal investigators and collaborators.
