Job summary

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine invites applications for a full-time Research Scientist to advance aerosol and air quality research under Dr. Jun Wang. You will oversee projects on respiratory protection devices for public use, contributing to a strong, collaborative research program.

The initial appointment is 12 months with potential renewal based on funding and performance, supporting a thriving environment in environmental health sciences.

Qualifications

• PhD and/or MD required.
• At least one year of independent research experience after graduation.
• Experience developing manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications.
• Knowledge of respiratory protection devices (N95, PAPR, etc.).
• Experience with statistical software and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Modify and adapt experimental protocols for aerosol and air quality research.
• Prepare results in manuscript form and graphics for presentations and grants.
• Submit research proposals as principal investigator when appropriate.
• Supervise graduate research assistants and other staff.
• Perform related duties as needed.
