  • Doctoral degree in Life Health and Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Botany, Ecology, Microbiology, Plant Sciences, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on soilborne pathogens (Verticillium dahliae, Fusarium oxysporum) affecting crops in Salinas Valley.
  • Investigate ecology, evolution, and management of pathogens; analyze microbial interactions and host resistance.
  • Train in microscopy, nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, and plant physiological measurements.
